That experience led him into renewable energy, where he saw firsthand how solar and battery storage could help people take control of their energy costs by effectively prepaying future energy use and reducing exposure to price volatility.

Throughout his career with organisations including ZEN Energy, Energy Action and AGL, Steve has supported businesses navigating the closure of coal-fired generation, supply insecurity and extreme energy price fluctuations. He has worked on large-scale greenfield developments across sectors such as data centres, retail and logistics, helping organisations manage energy costs as they moved from operational concern to boardroom priority.
