AMPAURA AUSTRALIA
About

An Adelaide business, in a market that mostly answers from overseas

Ampaura Australia supplies commercial and industrial battery storage, the software that designs it and the intelligence layer that keeps it earning. We answer the phone here, we do the engineering here, and when something goes wrong on a Friday afternoon, the person who picks up knows your system.

Why we exist

Most suppliers hand you a battery and a manual

Commercial storage goes wrong in the gap between the sale and the savings. The battery arrives, it gets installed, and nobody can tell you whether it is actually earning what the proposal promised. We built the business to close that gap: the software that designs the system, the hardware that delivers it, and the intelligence that proves it is working, from one accountable supplier.

We do not install, so we never compete with the partners who do
Claims come with their basis stated, or they do not get made
Support is Australian, in Australian hours, by people who know the product
Our purpose

We exist to make our installers successful.

Everything else follows from that one sentence. It is why we do not install and do not compete for your job. It is why we built Designer instead of handing you a spreadsheet. It is why there is an electrical engineer and a qualified electrician you can ring, rather than a ticket queue in another timezone.

Our values

What we want to be known for

These are not internal wallpaper. They are the things we would like customers, installers and partners to say about us when we are not in the room. If we are getting it right, these are the words you would use.

  1. The kind of people you want on site

We show up prepared, grounded and professional, and we take pride in how we represent ourselves and the people we work with.

We are down to earth, practical and easy to work with, and we understand the realities of being an installer. We are trusted on site because we are reliable, straightforward and good to deal with. Ego and poor behaviour are not tolerated.

  2. We are built for installers

Our focus is on installers, first and foremost.

We are accessible, engaged and on the installer's side. We work as one team, removing barriers and friction rather than creating them. We support installers in the real world, and we make decisions with their success front of mind.

  3. We listen and act

We want feedback, and we act on it.

We encourage feedback and respond with urgency and intent. Listening matters, but action matters more. We stay close to our installers, respond quickly, and adapt our approach based on what actually matters to them.

  4. Accountability matters

    Accuracy and responsibility are imperatives.

We value accuracy and take responsibility for outcomes, not excuses. We are clear about our commitments and we follow through. When things do not go to plan, we own it and we fix it.

  5. Open, honest and always improving

We do not pretend. We improve as we go.

We are authentic and transparent in how we work and how we communicate. We are open about where things are at, we stay curious, and we keep improving based on real world experience.
