A twenty foot containerised DC energy storage block, 4,073 kWh, with the battery modules and liquid cooling installed at the factory and a hybrid cooling design that keeps the parasitic load down.

Battery modules and the liquid cooling system are pre installed in a standard twenty foot ISO container. What arrives on site is a finished block, not a kit.
A liquid cooling chiller works with HVAC, and supplementary air cooling reduces the power the system spends cooling itself. Less parasitic load means more of the stored energy reaches the site.
Explosion proof ventilation compliant with NFPA 69, with detection for both smoke and flammable or explosive gas.
The Max is a DC energy storage system. It pairs with an external power conversion system chosen for the site, which is what makes it flexible at utility scale and why the AC rating is set by the inverter you put with it.

Figures below are taken directly from the RCT Power RCTerra Max 1.0 4000 datasheet, IEC and UL, revision April 2026. This is a DC system, so AC ratings depend on the power conversion system specified with it.
The RCT Power datasheet covers both the IEC and UL builds. Foundation drawings, transport details and PCS pairing notes are available on request.
Projects at this size involve network approvals, PCS selection and a construction program. Talk to us early and we will map out what the site actually needs before anything is ordered.
