Not all batteries are created equal

The batteries in the news are not the batteries on your wall. Commercial storage uses a different chemistry, built for a different job, and your insurer will ask about exactly this.

LFP chemistry

Lithium iron phosphate, the safest mainstream battery chemistry: low fire risk, thermally stable, and rated for 6,000 to 8,000 cycles depending on platform, which is 16 to 22 years of daily work. The e-scooter cells that make headlines are a different chemistry entirely.

Engineered cooling

Liquid cooling on the RCTerra range keeps every cell at its ideal temperature through a 45 degree January, which is what protects performance and lifespan.

Fire suppression built in

Suppression technology throughout the cabinet and rock wool isolation between modules, engineered in at the factory, not bolted on later.

Ampaura Australia partners with RCT Power, the German storage engineer whose batteries lead independent efficiency testing in Europe. This is where your system comes from: not a rebadged commodity cell, a purpose-built storage factory. Watch it work.

RCT Power designs and engineers the battery platform in Germany, with manufacturing across Germany, Malaysia and China. Ampaura Australia supplies, commissions and supports it from Adelaide.
