RCTerra Pro 2.0

RCTerra Pro 2.0 1044

A ten foot format block for sites with real load. Four battery racks for 1,044 kWh, or three for 783 kWh, on the same footprint and the same platform as the 261.

Where the Pro earns its place

Two capacities, one footprint

Four battery racks give 1,044 kWh at 500 kW, three racks give 783 kWh at 375 kW. Both builds are the same 2991 x 2591 x 2438 mm block, so a site can be laid out before the final size is locked.

Five tier protection

Cell level protection, pack level shutdown, rack level disconnect, PCS isolation and a container level electrical disconnect, with the same three stage fire system used across the 2.0 platform.

Liquid cooled, 8,000 cycles

Every pack is liquid cooled and rated to at least 8,000 cycles to 70 per cent state of health. Twenty packs of 52.25 kWh in the 1044 build, fifteen in the 783.

Runs off grid when it has to

Off grid operation is supported, with Modbus TCP into Ampaura Connect for dispatch, peak shaving and time of use control.

A megawatt hour is a design job, not a catalogue job

At this size the answer depends on your tariff, your demand profile and what you are trying to achieve. We model it in Ampaura Designer first, then Ampaura Connect runs the strategy the model chose.
